natural family living sims: round 2: special task

Special Task
After the baby is born we want to see you bring the baby home and demonstrate how you are living life naturally. This will require 3 pictures and storytelling and is due after you finish round 2.

weve been falling into a routine again around here.
its been hard but it always is.
breastfeeding is going good and instead of tandem nursing like i was expecting im now triandem nursing, if thats even a word *laughs*

cosleeping is going great, but aeneas and eryx have moved to thier own bed until we get a bigger bed.

learning how to wear two new floppy babies is giving me some trouble but im sure in a few weeks ill have it down.
ecing is going alot better than i thought it would. the babies signal so clearly its hard not to take them to the potty.
we took the babies to see our family doctor just to get them a paper trail. theyve been gaining weight like crazy. and they were pretty big to begin with, well for twins. our doctor said they were wonderfully healthy, but i knew that already. :)
is it insane that im already ready for another one? in fact id love to have 10 more!

You have a doctors appointment and we want to go with you. We want to see what you doctor has to say about your pregnancy. Is everything moving along as it should or are there any surprises to be found.

You will need 3 pictures and at least 3 sentences of story telling for this task.

today i took the girls with me to pick up some birthing supplies and a visit with a local freebirth friendly direct entry midwife.
first we spoke with her about what supplies we needed, it was nice bouncing ideas off of her, she remembered some things i had forgotten on my list (darn pregnancy brain) and we discussed how to prepare the kids for the birth.

then she showed me some birthpools. i havent decided whether i want a water or land birth. i guess ill just have to wait to see what i want in labor. but i really loved laboring in the tub with eryx.
here we are finding the perfect birthpool. nice and spacious.

after we got the business taken care of we walked around and visited with the doulas, it was so nice and relaxing being around like minded people. it can get so stressful constantly hearing wellmeaning, albeit uneducated friends and family working themselves into a panic over how unsafe homebirth is, let alone unassisted birth. birth is as dangerous as life, no more, no less. this visit was nice and helped me connect back to why i freebirth. im feeling capable, im feeling empowered... i can do this!

Location: northeastern kansas
Occupations: elissa is a work at home mom who sews slings and cloth diapers. aeneas is a conceptual artist.
What do they do that makes them a natural planning Family: (cloth diapers, baby wearing, breastfeeding, etc.) just about everything, from birth and beyond. we birth them where we make them, home sweet home. after a medically managed disaster of a birth ending in cesarean with the twins i told myself there has to be a better way, which led me down a long winding path through birthcenters, midwives offices and ended with freebirthing. my freebirth with eryx was so empowering. im planning on freebirthing this one too. once theyre born we wear them and cosleep, we also practice elimination communication, with cloth diaper backup in the newborn days, until we get into our groove.breastfeeding is a given at this point, i believe strongly in childled weaning so ill be tandem nursing. oy... but im ready! after all i went through trying to salvage my breastfeeding relationship with the twins im ready for anything life throws my way!
